Reduced Fee services
I believe in making mental health treatment more accessible, and strive to eliminate barriers to care imposed by financial limitations. More specifically, there is a critical need for therapists who are competent in working with the eating disorder (ED) population-- as this is a highly specialized skillset. ED treatment is often costly because of the level of expertise clinicians need in order to provide appropriate care. I partner with organizations such as Project Heal to offer pro bono services to those who cannot access ED treatment due to financial/ insurance barriers. However, because I have a limited number of reduced fee slots available (and they fill up quickly!), I have elected to supervise a counselor in training as a means of offering more affordable therapy services
Thus, Bridget Dromerick will be completing her Practicum in Counseling under my supervision as a part of her educational training. Because Bridget is a master's-level student in counseling (and not yet licensed) she will be offering counseling services at a significantly discounted rate. Bridget will begin seeing clients with a wide range of mental health needs beginning in January 2021. Bridget will be receiving eating disorder specific supervision from me, and has also received extensive training and continuing education on eating disorders.
